Privacy policy

1. Who can you contact?

MboaGuard is your contact for information received in connection with an enquiry. For privacy questions, email contact@mboaguard.com with “Privacy” in the subject line.

2. What information is involved?

Depending on your request: name, phone number, email address, property type and general location, requested service, frequency, property status and description of your needs. Discussions may also include messages and attachments you choose to send.

An assignment may require additional information: property access, observations, photos, videos and geographical coordinates. Its use must remain connected to the agreed service. Do not submit passwords, full bank details or identity documents through the public form.

3. How does the form work?

The form prepares a message in your browser. It does not save your request in a website database or automatically send it to MboaGuard.

Clicking a WhatsApp contact after preparing a request opens a link containing your message: its contents are passed to WhatsApp before you confirm sending. You then decide whether to send the message in WhatsApp. You may also contact us directly by email.

4. Email and WhatsApp

Emails to contact@mboaguard.com are currently forwarded by Namecheap to a Gmail mailbox used by the person responsible for MboaGuard. Namecheap and Google therefore participate in delivering and storing these communications. Replies may come from that Gmail address.

WhatsApp messages reach the account of your chosen contact in Canada or Cameroon. The recipient can read and retain messages needed to handle your enquiry. WhatsApp, its links and any backups also operate under the service’s rules and device settings.

5. Why do we use your information?

To answer enquiries, assess whether an intervention is possible, prepare an offer or contract, arrange an assignment and provide the agreed communication and follow-up. An enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list.

Client information is not intended for public display on the website. Using a testimonial, photo or report for promotional presentation requires separate permission.

6. Who may access it?

The person responsible and team members handling your enquiry or assignment may receive information needed for their role. When an assignment involves a tradesperson or other provider, relevant details should be shared within the agreed scope, without forwarding all your communications.

Technical providers, including Namecheap, Google and WhatsApp/Meta, also process certain data to deliver their services. Their infrastructure may be outside your country. Information may also be disclosed where required by an applicable obligation.

7. Retention and protection

Messages are retained for the time needed to respond and follow up. Retention of assignment records, contracts, reports and supporting documents takes account of service follow-up, applicable obligations and potential disputes. Information no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised; this policy does not provide for indefinite retention.

Communications and documents should be limited to the people concerned and protected against unauthorised access. No communication method guarantees absolute security: limit sensitive attachments and arrange an appropriate transmission method with our team when needed.

8. Browsing and external services

The website currently includes no advertising tools, audience analytics or tracking cookies added by MboaGuard. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, creating a connection with Google. Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc., hosts the website. It may process technical data such as IP addresses and connection logs to deliver and secure the website. Its privacy policy describes its processing. This information will be updated if the chosen provider changes.

Email links open your email application. WhatsApp links open an external service. These providers apply their own policies: Namecheap, Google and WhatsApp.

9. Your requests and choices

You may ask what information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, and raise objections to its use. We consider requests under applicable rules and explain whether some information must be retained. Withdrawal may limit our ability to continue the requested service.

Contact contact@mboaguard.com. Identify the relevant discussions or assignment without sending an identity document unprompted; if verification is necessary, we will explain what is needed. Requests about data held independently by Google or WhatsApp should also be directed to those services.

10. Updates

This policy will be updated if our tools or information handling change. The date above indicates the latest update.
